The Life Cinematic

About a Boy
A solid, never sappy comedy; Hugh Grant, as usual, is endlessly adorable. Comes with my dad's recommendations, too: I watched it for the first time with him. My little brother even liked it! Can't go wrong there.

Abre los Ojos (Open Your Eyes)

Ace Ventura: Pet Detective
Even if you are in the mood for a mindless comedy... no. Just no. In fact, I don't know why I don't give it an F. Must have caught me in a good mood. I have to admit laughing at the "May I ASS you a few questions?" bit. But other than that. No.

Adam's Rib
Probably my favorite Hepburn/Tracy collaboration, one of the dozens of her movies I watched with my mom. She fell asleep during this one, but that is no reflection on its hilarity and brilliance. Not such a humiliating comeuppance like Woman of the Year, too.
